Please join Native Waters on Arid Lands (NWAL) for a climate change workshop on September 6th, 2018 at Navajo Technical University in Crownpoint, NM. The event will feature presentations on traditional Hopi perspectives on climate change, the effects of climate change on the Pinyon Pine of the Colorado Plateau, traditional concepts on climate change in Navajo ethnology, and a roundtable discussion about how climate change affects Indigenous homelands. In the afternoon, the group will take a field trip to Chaco Culture National Historic Park to learn about climate change and the Anasazi.
